What is a psychiatrist?
Psychiatrists are medical doctors that go on to complete a 4 years psychiatric residency training after medical school. They assess, diagnosis and treat mental, emotional, cognitive and behavioral disturbances in variety of ways that can include prescribing medication.
Do you accept insurance?
Dr. Richardson is out of network for all insurance companies, meaning the practice does not accept or bill insurance. See fees, here. Insurance company requirements do not allow for the type of practice and care that is provided at this private office. One is able to use an HSA/FSA to pay for services. Patients also can file with their insurance after appointments, sometimes for a partial reimbursement.
How am I billed?
Fees are accepted at the time of service. Accepted is credit card, HSA cards, checks, or cash.
How do I get to your office?
Located on off Statesville Rd, near 131 Main restaurant, in the Oakhurst buildings, 2nd building, second floor, there is no elevator. Suite 222. By appointment only.
